The Waimarino Art Awards has been going for 27 years under various guises. It is funded by local businesses in and around Raetihi, under the umbrella of Raetihi Promotions Charitable Trust.

Geli Printing with Merrilyn George at Royal Theatre Raetihi, 6:30pm - 9pm. Maximum 8 participants, essential to book. $40 pp.

Clay Animals with Barbara van de Woerd at Volcano Vibe, 11am - 2pm. $30 pp.
Classic Drawing Class with Annie Stone at Wild Forest Collective, 33 Clyde Street, Ohakune, 11am - 1:30pm. $30 pp. Materials provided.
Taking Textiles Further with Alysn Midgelow-Marsden at the Royal Theatre Raetihi, 6:30pm - 9pm. $40 pp. Booking essential.

Kahu Aroha (Mini Korowai) with Aroha Mareikura at Royal Theatre Raetihi, 10am - 4pm (2 Day Course - continues Thursday). $130 pp (both days included). Materials supplied.
Pyrography (wood burning technique) with Jodie Appleton at Volcano Vibe, 10am - 2pm. Maximum 6 people, booking essential. $55 pp. Equipment supplied.

Quick! Draw! A slightly competitive still life drawing session with spot prizes. Hosted by Annie Stone at Freddie's Café & Bar, 11am - 2pm. $60 pp, includes a beautiful lunch and mini bus travel up the mountain.
Mixed Media & Collage with Deb Brock at Volcano Vibe, 1pm - 4pm. $40 pp. Materials supplied though you may also like to bring your own.
